Processing of personal data
The controller of the personal data collected by the Mariebebe online store.
Personal data to be processed:
- Name, phone number and e-mail address;
- Delivery address of the goods;
- Bank account number;
- Cost of goods and services, data related to payments (purchase history);
- Customer support data.
Purpose for the processing of personal data
Mariebebe is the controller of personal data and forwards the personal data necessary for making payments to the authorised processor of database, Stripe and paypal.
Personal data is used to manage customer orders and to deliver goods.
Purchase history data (purchase date, goods, quantity, customer data) is used to provide an overview of the goods and services purchased and to analyse client preferences.
The bank account number is used to return payments to the client.
Personal data, such as e-mail, phone number, client’s name, is processed to resolve issues related to the provision of goods and services (customer support).
The IP-address or other network identifiers of an online store user are processed to provide the online store as an information society service and to compile web usage statistics.
Legal basis
Personal data is processed for the purpose of executing the contract entered into with the client.
The processing of personal data is done to fulfil a legal obligation (e.g. accounting or settlement of consumer disputes).
Recipients to whom personal data is transmitted
Personal data is forwarded to the customer support of the Online Store to manage purchases and purchase history and to resolve the clients’ problems.
Name and phone number will be forwarded to the transport service provider and / or supplier of the goods if the goods are sent by the supplier. In the case of delivering goods by courier or if the client orders the goods to a post office, the client’s address shall be forwarded in addition to these contact details.
If the accounting of the online store is done by a service provider, the service provider will receive the personal data necessary for accounting operations.
Personal data may be transferred to information technology service providers, if this is necessary to ensure the functionality of the online store or data hosting.
Security and access to data
Access to personal data is granted to employees who can access personal data for the purpose of resolving technical issues related to using the Online Store and to provide customer support service.
The Online Store has implemented appropriate physical, organisational, and infotechnological security measures to protect personal data from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration or unauthorised access and disclosure.
The transfer of personal data to authorised processors of database (e.g. transport service provider and data hosting) is done on the basis of agreements concluded between the Online Store and the authorised processors of database. Authorised processors of database are obligated to ensure appropriate security measures for the processing of personal data.
Access to and correction of personal data
Personal data can be accessed and corrected from the online store user profile. If the purchase has been made without a user account, the personal data can be accessed via customer support.
Withdrawal of consent
If the processing of personal data is done on the basis of the client’s consent, the client has the right to withdraw the consent by giving notice to the customer support by e-mail.
Preservation
Closing the online store client account, personal data shall be deleted, unless such data must be preserved for accounting or to resolve consumer disputes.
If a purchase has been made in the online store without a client account, the purchase history will be stored for three years.
In the case of disputes related to payments and consumer disputes, personal data will be kept until the claim has been satisfied or the limitation period has elapsed.
Personal data required for accounting purposes shall be preserved for seven years
Deletion
To delete personal information, contact customer support by e-mail. A requires for deletion shall be answered no later than within one month and the period for deletion data shall then be specified.
Transfer
Request for the transfer of personal data can be submitted by e-mail and the request will be answered within a month at the latest. . Customer support will identify the person and notify that person of the personal data to be transferred.
Direct marketing messages
E-mail address and phone number will be used to send direct marketing messages if the client has given consent. If the client does not wish to receive direct marketing messages, then please select the appropriate link in the footer of the e-mail or contact customer support.
If personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes (profiling), the client has the right to object at any time to the initial or further processing of his personal data, including direct marketing profiling, by notifying the customer support by e-mail (the corresponding information must be presented clearly and separately from any other information).
Dispute resolution
Disputes related to the processing of personal data are resolved through customer support (e-mail: info@mariebebe.ee).
By entering your phone number in the checkout and initializing a purchase, subscribing via our subscription form or a keyword, you agree that we may send you text notifications (for your order, including abandoned cart reminders) and text marketing offers. Text marketing messages will not exceed 20 a month. You acknowledge that consent is not a condition for any purchase.
